Instead, of some distant, seemingly unachievable destination, make your powerful intention your new reality. For example, instead of saying, “I want to lose 15 pounds,” say, “I’m going to treat myself to a nutritious lunch because I’m a healthy person and I deserve to feel energetic today.” As you form your intentions, remember these important points: ☀️ Frame your intention in a present tense and positive tone. ☀️ Make your intention adjustable and attainable. ☀️ Be clear and concise. If you would like to light a candle *white candle* for new beginnings, or a *pink candle* for self-love. 🎈 Write your intentions and also include the reason why you want it. 🎈 Create a comfortable setting, indoors or outdoors and spend 30-45 mins on this exercise. 🎈 Visualise your intention and connect with how it feels to have it. Here are some key findings: Nausea and Vomiting Relief: Ginger has been shown to be effective in preventing and reducing nausea and vomiting, particularly in cases of postoperative nausea, morning sickness, and chemotherapy-induced nausea (Ernst & Pittler, 2000) ; (Rasmussen, 2011) . Potential Anti-inflammatory and Antioxidant Effects: Ginger contains compounds like gingerols and shogaols, which have demonstrated antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and even potential anticancer activities (Mao et al., 2019) . Metabolic Benefits: Ginger may facilitate fat utilization and has shown some effects on blood sugar and lipid levels. It improved insulin sensitivity and some lipid profile aspects in patients with type 2 diabetes (Miyamoto et al., 2015) ; (Arablou et al., 2014) . Digestive Health: Ginger has been used traditionally for its benefits on gastrointestinal health, including its digestive stimulant action and potential protective effects against gastrointestinal disorders (Bodagh et al., 2018) . Living on autopilot can take away from being fully present.😀 Whether it’s going for a walk, coloring, dancing, or writing, when you’re doing something you enjoy, a state of flow occurs naturally. Love this quote too..💥 Dr. Wanis says. “The reason you have this extraordinary almost euphoric response is that you stop thinking about yourself. You lose the concept of self and become fully absorbed in what you’re doing. That alone is an example of mindfulness or living in the present moment where all of your senses are engaged in what you’re doing.” 3. 👉 Look for a sense of significance. In what way are you making a difference? This could also be you changing your own state of mind. How are you connecting to your surroundings? Are you connecting with the life force energy around you? Being at one with Magnum (the horse) was paramount. Kinda reminded me of being at one with life force energy, when you let it flow, loosen the grip of holding on and having it your way, only then do your body and mind move in the direction which is most serving for you. Isn’t that just life? Sometimes we are so stuck in our own ways of thinking, that we don’t have the space to count the blessings and continue creating and harboring space for fear, shame, guilt, and pain. These very things anchor us down, leading to heaviness and it gets too weighty to flow in the direction we really would love to be growing. Take a moment and reflect on the blessings you experienced today, then do it again tomorrow, and then the day after and watch the load in your heart slowly become lighter and lighter. A year ago I had a dream (literally) and as I wrote the dream in the morning into my journal I remember my inner voice making a comment like….’hmmm nah’ almost negating that it could be possible for me. In the dream I was riding a horse, he was a white horse and we were galloping through a sea that had parted to create a pathway for us. It felt so real and I smiled to myself thinking I wonder what it would actually be like, what would that experience feel like? I had not heard from any family members or close friends that they had done this, so I didn’t have any first-hand information to go on. That year in June, I visited a horse riding place and watched from a distance. These beautifully built strong animals. I didn’t commit to riding but just wanted to feel how it would be to be near them. There was a calm, warm, and nurturing associated feeling about them. A year later, as I took my physical and mental well-being, high into my daily priorities, I started to walk a lot more in nature. To my surprise on my walks, I saw elegant swans, mischievous squirrels, calm ducks, laid-back rustic cattle, and majestic horses. The dream came back to me, and I began to realize that it was a seed planted deep within, that I wanted to experience horse riding. I closed in and explored further and so many signs were showing up, encouraging me to do something which I’d only heard about. I decided I’d leave it to the universe and when the time is right it will come my way. Lo and behold the month of June (1 year later) was a special month for me and I got to experience this with a beautiful horse named Pi. My trainer Tonya Ellis was amazingly encouraging and she really help me tune in and be at one with Pi. As I reflect on the experience I’m grateful for the wisdom and awareness, that this was an act of pure self-love. Sending things out to the universe and having certainty that when the timing is right, things come about your way to experience what you need to experience. Sometimes as human beings, we have the tendency to want things right away and it can become frustrating when the demand isn’t met. And intern we place these very things on the back burner and then forget about them. But when we learn and can accept, that the time from the moment we want/see something that’s inspiring till the moment we get to actually meet that experience, that in-between time is actually preparing us in the most relevant ways for our experience to be met head-on in the best way for us. I certainly used that time, in between, to strengthen my physical body as well as creating the space in my mind to be fully present for something I chose for myself.
